The BCB President's Cup starts tomorrow (Sunday) with three teams. Although there is no tournament like international or BPL, BCB has arranged prize money. Tamim, Mahmudullah and Nazmul XI will fight to win the tournament worth 36 lakh 75 thousand taka.

The champion team will get 15 lakh and the runners-up team will get 8 lakh 50 thousand taka. The BCB confirmed the matter in a press release this (Saturday) evening. Earlier, three captains Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah and Nazmul Hossain Shant unveiled the trophy at Hotel Sonargaon.

Apart from this, the best player of the tournament will get 2 lakh taka. The best batsman, bowler, fielder and finalist of the tournament will get Bdt. 1 lakh. Besides, except for the final, there will be 50 thousand taka for each of the remaining 6 matches. Besides, the best batsman, bowler and fielder of each match will get Bdt 5,000.

After the postponement of the tour of Sri Lanka, the BCB has taken various initiatives to keep the cricketers on the field. As part of this, the Bangladesh Cricket Regulatory Authority is organizing a tournament with three teams. The 50-over edition will start with the match between Mahmudullah XI and Nazmul XI at 1.30 pm on Sunday.

The BCB is organizing the tournament as part of the process of starting cricket, which was stopped due to corona. They see the three-team competition as an 'experimental series' of the Corona period. As a result, the highest governing body of Bangladesh cricket is trying its best to make the competition attractive.
